Joni Percoski comes to the Children’s Apparel Retail Association with many years of experience. Before coming on as president of CARA, she was the executive director of the United Shoe Retailers Association (USRA) for seven years. She left the USRA and started her own meeting planning company (Forte Meeting Planning Inc.)
As the executive director of USRA, Percoski built relationships within the industry and helped create a relaxed educational seminar for both manufacturers and retailers, within the shoe industry.

In her new position, Percoski has already been successful in negotiating cost-saving discounts on everyday business expenses for CARA members. She will also create educational seminars that provide insight and knowledge on business concerns as well as build relationships between manufactures and retailers within the children apparel industry.
